Grief, Loss and Trauma
Here For You
Grief, loss, and trauma are some of the most universal human experiences, yet they are also some of the most misunderstood.
At some point in life, everyone encounters loss in one form or another. Whether it’s the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a life transition, or unresolved trauma, these experiences can leave lasting emotional imprints.
Unfortunately, many of us are taught to push these feelings aside, to “be strong,” move on quickly, or avoid talking about what hurts. But when grief and trauma go unprocessed, they don’t simply disappear. They often resurface later as anxiety, emotional numbness, relationship struggles, or delayed grief.
Healing begins when you have space to slow down and feel what hasn’t been fully acknowledged.
Our Approach
At The Therapy Bridge, we use a collaborative and integrative approach tailored to each individual. This may include:
Narrative Therapy to help you make meaning of your story.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address thoughts and emotional patterns that may feel stuck.
Attachment-based work to explore how loss and trauma impact relationships and safety.
We always use a client-centered approach that honors your pace, voice, and lived experience. Together we work toward understanding your emotions, building coping tools, and creating space for healing that feels authentic and supportive.
Mindfulness techniques to gently process emotions and reconnect with the present.
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
If you’re carrying grief, navigating loss, or healing from trauma, you deserve support.
Therapy offers a space where it’s okay to feel, to remember, and to begin again — without pressure or timelines.
You are welcome here exactly as you are.
